Heya Pogopuschel!

Thanks for playing the game, so happy you liked it :) I don't want to give away any secrets but I will give you some cryptic encouragement, at least.

1. I don't think anyone has figured this out yet.
2. This one has been figured out by quite a few people.
3. Yes; this one I'll tell you, just type the name in of the piece you would like to write. Then play at a piano/harpsichord as with any other sheet music. CAVEAT: DO NOT DROP ON GROUND (bug). If you do drop them on the ground, I'll fix your save as I haven't yet fixed this bug.
4. If you mean the western wing, yes.
5. No. I don't want anybody to go on a wild goosechase. =)
6. Good question! =)

If somebody else wants to chime in with explicit answers that's of course perfectly in the spirit of things, I just like to stay mostly silent as the dev :)

The TV is just a meetup spot, yeah. The hole in the mine can't be entered but it is explained in one spot; it's just a small backstory piece which already ties in with other areas of the story. =)

Woo! :) Sorry there's been lots of activity on the forum but I haven't checked it for awhile! I'm super super busy on a new game that should be out this month. Totally different than The Real Texas (I have games that are similar to TRT in development, too, though so don't worry if you want more of this madness, it is definitely on it's way too)

- The gamer shirt does have a purpose, but it's not a major thing :)

- The area to the east of the castle can't be accessed--sorry! Basically, I originally implemented the castle grounds to be about 9 times as large as the castle itself; so there was an entire other set of gates, a lake, forest with deer, and another area with barracks and a prison (part of this is what youa re seeing) This had to be cut from the game because I was just totally overwhelmed in trying to pull things together, and this area was making the game way too hard as well. I'd like to do a (free) content update to the game sometime, but so far have not had any major ideas. If I did I might try and use (some) of these areas since they were already implemented. To give you some idea: the 'real world' castle area as implemented was about the same size as the entire town of Strange and farmland; but this was mostly just scenery with only a few quest type things, so in a way all you are missing is scenery, not a whole bunch of actually cool things.

- The sheet music cannot (unfortunately) help you find tapes. The tapes-hunting is a bit tedious, sorry. I put it in for the type of person who enjoys that kind of thing, although really the best way to find them all would be start a forum post or FAQ or something as likely every tape has been found by at least *somebody*

- Kenrich's love interest can definitely be figured out, there are a lot of clues throughout the entire game ;-)

- Dead snake is just a dead snake, haha sorry it was random. Hopefully it made you laugh slightly to find it.

- "Old Handy" I have no idea what this even is! Sorry :) Where did you find it, and what does it look like?

EDIT: Also, random thankyou for your kind words and also helping out with clues on the forums. I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed the game so much, it reallly makes me happy. Your suggestion for a bonneville clue with the rocks is good, too :)

Re: Kenrich's love interest, yeah you can't do anything to help him with it. Just something to figure out! I'm curious if anybody figured this out or wondered about it early on.

Re: The gamer shirt, yeah you get it from the aliens upstairs in the castle by the TV. It has only one purpose, again nothing major.

Re: The iphone, remember it's the previous generation iphone so it is just garbadge :) It really has no purpose beyond making this subtle joke about how people view smartphones.

Re: New game!

Aha! Okay actually I have a bunch of games in development but the next one is a boat game, hard to describe exactly but there is some information here:

It's obviously a big departure from Texas but I think people are going to enjoy it. It's also going to be CHEAP AS CHIPS, basically I'm releasing it in a simple form and then gradually adding more features to it (for free.) As more features get added, the price will go up (in small increments.)

My plan with it is bascially (hopefully) give people a reason to keep coming back to it and keep the game fresh and interesting, i.e., kind of the opposite of the monolithic RPG idea.

The game will be interesting and fun :)
