I don't know if you've approached them already, but I really think you should - and not just because I want to gift it to some Steam friends.

Even if you've already approached them and they said no, please read this: http://penny-arcade.com/report/editorial-article/steam-may-be-the-most-important-service-for-indies-and-valves-first-no-may-

This is a very creative game that mixes classic elements with some very unique mechanics and I'd love to see it catch on.

I agree wholeheartedly!

The problem is that the process seems to be kind of arbitrary when it comes to Steam and games. There is a great game called Unepic and it was not accepted for some unknown reason. Meanwhile there is a whole lot of totally rubbish games on Steam and you wonder how they actually managed to turn up there (maybe there was a lot of alcohol involved).

I originally bought this game for the Linux support, but I'd love it if it was on Steam for the gifting ability, too. Or just a gifting feature! :)

I just beat it now, and I'm giddy with how fun and funny the whole thing was, even with a few bugs. Thanks!

You're welcome! And thanks for the encouragement, I'd like to see it get on Steam as well. I did send it to them once, and plan to do so again in the future! So we'll see... =)

Maybe Desura would be a better solution: they do sell games for Linux, with nearly all the good features of Steam (no game overlay though).

Or... both? Steam definitely has more users, but being on as many stores as you can be bothered to upload updates to is the best. Desura would be nice (especially if customers who bought it here get keys ;D ).

Since the game is already on IndieDB, it actually has a hidden Desura page already (because they use the same database).

Heyas! Yes, the game is hopefully going to be on Desura as well. This is almost definite at this point but I still want to make sure I have a nearly bug-free version first. Steam isn't definite, but I will definitely try to get it up there. I like Desura a great deal, the people behind it are the same people behind ModDB/IndieDB which are both fantastic sites. The game will likely also be available on GamersGate at the same time.

I don't like to announce stuff unless it's 100% but these are both fairly certain, fortunately!

This looks like it might be good news for you: http://steamcommunity.com/greenlight

Even though Steam isn't 'my thing', I'd be happy to vote to try and help get the game on there.

Hmm, the problem with this is, that niche/unknown games like TRT are not getting enough votes.

Well, it looks like Steam Greenlight finally launched, so if you wanted to try that out the opportunity is now available.

(Still waiting on that soundtrack... ;~;)

TypoDC thank you!

Sorry about taking so long with the soundtrack, all I can say is IT IS COMING and it will be free (that's just what the composer wanted =)
