i can get ore easily, and store it in my ship easy, buy selling is the problem most places only buy 2-6 and i can (since i'm stuck with my starter ship due to lack of fundage, and this prob) i can hold usualy 10-17 ore, or items, and when i kill monsters it's veary hard to find a place to sell the crystals, and the biggest of all these problems is that it's immpossible to find a planet with ore, and when i do, and mine all of it it doesn't seem to respawn...


all i suggest is that places sel infinite, and buy alot, that way with the amount of players that play all the places wont get closed, and i suggest an ore finder, maybe a radar or something, and most of all, for the sake of making all of this more interesting asteroid feilds, and mineable leftovers (like when stuff gets killed in space whats left over from the ship, asteroid or such will be mineable)

and finaly i keep getting killed because ships are takeing my mining as a threat, and killing me! so please make a mining laser or something so that it cant hurt another ship, but surely can mine withut being a threat.

oh and a few other things since i logged in lately i've been getting stuff from blowing up plants, and i just need to know if it's at all possible to sell the crap i get from them. another thing that would progress the game it a tractor beam, when used on a planet it should have a short range due to gravity (about 200 meters) and in space a longer range (500 meters) that would help miners, and bounty hunters. (bug bonty hunters)

Bounty offices will take the crystals, which will be in any city with a city hall. They should take all the crystals from the monsters in the current star system. You won't get as much money as if you find a jeweler (in some cases, not nearly as much!) but it's easy and guaranteed.

The green icons that sometimes appear on planet maps are ores that you can mine peacefully. If you shoot down other ships, you will get in trouble with the law which might be OK if you are a pirate =)

Anyhow, the ores *should* respawn (I will double check that they are) but it takes time (real time, i.e., you don't have to be playing) so you should go do something else! =) There are a lot of strategies for making money, but the effectiveness of each will vary from world pack to world pack as well. Some world packs will naturally just be a bit harder than others, I'm going to release another couple today that you can try if you like.

Other ships shouldn't take mining as a threat, I will look into that. If it's true then it's a definite bug. Asteroid fields are a great idea, unfortunately I don't think I will be able to implement them soon.

I will double check a few things mentioned though! I've also made some modifications to the cargo ship.

ships take mining as a threat only when u use beam weapons for it

Hmn, interesting, that bug is still in there? thanks for narrowing it down, I will take a look. Other plans in the works include fixing the world pack technology slightly so that world packs don't take up as much space on the HDD. This is an issue keeping me from releasing more world packs, i'd like to put out some HUGE ones just to see.

i simply think beams have too long range and that's why i hit ships that i cannot see.

It could be. But there was a bug involving hit detection and beams, that I thought I fixed. I'll have to go double check! So many variables, when even weapons are auto-generated...

Hey, did you try out the freeform world? Difficulty was set a little higher in that one. Can you think of any other tweaks or additions that would make the game more fun?

You are probably the most experienced player of this game, you know =) Since you've been around since very early beta...

i made other discovery (bad)...
beam weapons hit nearby ship (even when you aren't pointing at it) so we have now much bugs with them.

it occured on atlantic game world

when i can i will upload a video
