My idea isn't really for the game itself, but for help getting the game to run. I have delt with "help chats" befoe, and it is SO much easier than forums. It would be hard to keep up with all the people, but it could be one of those windows you have open on your computer all the time. It would be really useful, if you have a simple problem and want it done soon. Forums are okay with prblems that take a while to actually fix, as in the binary stages, but not for really simple stuff, or lots of simple things. I know that my problems would best be suited (mostly) for the chat. Lemme know if it would be possible.

P.S., just thought of this. You don't have to have admin on the chat all the time. Just have a specific time set up that they WOULD be on, every day for a hour or more, three times a day.Advertise the time on the news page, the forums, the login page-people will get it.

It's a great idea, actually. There is already an in-game chat feature, it would be interesting to try and integrate it into the website. That way you could even chat with players inside the game, without being inside the game at all, and also see what other chats went on. I'll have to think about it and see if there is some way it could be reasonably done!

... or actually, do you mean a chat available from the website, hm.. LIke when you are online shopping and want help available. That's actually probably easier to do, since there is probably a plugin for it. Unfortunately I couldn't quite have it open all the time at my job (I'm just one dude, I work a day job fortunately it's a computer job so I can get a bit of time into the forums). But it's an idea, too. My thinking is you must mean something more like the latter, since it's um, not possible to get to the in-game chat if the game isn't running. Hah!

yeah, the help chat is out of the game, available from the website. It is open at certain times in the day, the times of your choosing.
